Has anyone had any thought yet about history for the USA? I don't know if you have read my proposed darft for the history of the UK but it involves an anglo-ameraican war and in the story arc I am working on I would like to do a flash back to the good old days when my british characters were at war with the yanks. It would be good if I could cross reference some characters from other people's story arcs.

Well, the characters and stories Im developing are set in America, involving a company known as GlobalCorp, that on the surface is trying to improve life but in reality is involved in some shady dealings...and they are building their own private army (for world domination obviously haha) so what Im thinking is maybe a plan to get Britain and America to start a war with each other, with GlobalCorp manipulating and using both sides for their own gains.

Have you thought what has happened politically in the USA? How have supers fared that side of the pond?

My current thinking is that there were no superpowered beings in America, so GlobalCorp was given a secret contract to artificially create them, in case a war did break out between the U.S. and Britain.
It was feared that because of the history of supers in the U.K. if the ban was ever lifted and the supers were integrated into the British armies, America would have no defence.
However at the turn of the millennium, a treaty was signed between the U.S. and Britain, thereby ending the risk of war. All super soldier projects were ordered to be terminated.
But the Gentech prototypes survived, two of which, Hydro and Blaze (the bad guys lol) now lead and train GlobalCorps private army and the third, Spark (the hero) is awaiting execution. This is where my story begins. Im still working out the specifics but its gonna be epic.
I have a character specific plot to get thruough but as it gets wider then other characters from other authors will come into it...basically to try to stop an all out war.

Sure why not lol...Btw, did the Japanese attack Pearl Harbour? Did the Americans drop the bomb on Nagasaki and Hiroshima? Did Al Queda attack the WTC and Pentagon?

I shall leave american history up to those setting story arsc there. two points however:
There was an Anglo-American war and Britain ddi field supers. How has the US kept super powers hidden while they have been widely known abotu in the UK for decades?
One idea is that normal supers (if there such a thing) have been around in the us similar to the Uk but your three characters are uber-supers, far more powerful than any idividual yet known to mankind.

My stories will be set in the US too, but mostly for my story to work Hollywood must exist (not that it's hard to change, just have to re do my plans).
I'm thinking that no supers can be hard to explain unless someone got to anyone with a potential super gene before they could do any harm.

I would say the Vietnam War didn't take place, because WW2 didn't take place. Without WW2, the European colonial powers wouldn't have been weakened, and they would have been able to keep a firm grip on their colonies.
The Japanese probably would have attacked the USA anyway, and that would have been a conflict between Japan and the USA. The British Empire might have been strong enough to check Japanese aggression in the East
